Scandic Kødbyen is located in the Meatpacking District in Copenhagen – an area filled with history and now a focal point for culture, creativity and culinary adventures. The neighbourhood is characterised by its relaxed atmosphere, trendy coffee shops and small, funky design and craft shops. In the neighbourhood around Kødbyen, you can really feel the city’s pulse. The hotel opened in September 2018 and has 370 rooms which are all equipped with TV, free WiFi, air cooling and black out curtains. Standard rooms are approx. 19 m2 and have either one King bed or two Twin beds. Underground parking for a fee.

This modern hotel offers good-value accommodation in Copenhagen, only 15 minutes’ walk from attractions such as the Tivoli Gardens and the shopping street, Strøget. The 510 rooms at Wakeup Copenhagen have air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, a small work desk and bathroom with shower. Please note that all rooms have one 160 cm wide double bed (no twin beds) and are non-smoking. The 13-floor building is designed by Danish architect Kim Utzon. Facilities include a large breakfast restaurant, business centre, free WiFi and parking for a fee.

Deposit, cancellation and changes
Reservations of hotel rooms must be backed by a 1 night deposit payment. The deposit serves as a guarantee to the hotel for the first night and will be deducted from the participants’ hotel invoice upon check-in/check-out. ALL REMAINING NIGHTS ARE TO BE PAID AT THE HOTEL UPON ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE.
Before 1st April, 2024 the deposit will be reimbursed, between 2nd April and 1st May, 2024 the deposit will only be reimbursed if DIS Congress Service is able to allocate all the cancelled room nights to another guest.
For cancellations made after 1st May, 2024, 2023 no refund of the hotel deposit will be made. Please note that in case of cancellation all hotels are legally authorized to charge the entire stay as booked by the guest also in case of no-show or early departure. In case of a refund this will be made after the conference.
All changes must be made to DIS Congress Service (participants@discongress.com ) in writing and not to the hotel.
